What is Chicago Moves?
Chicago Moves is a lottery program that provides residents with a total of 50,000 prepaid gas cards worth $150 and 100,000 prepaid transit cards worth $50. The provision was passed to help residents deal with rising costs.
How do I apply?
There are three ways to apply for the Chicago Moves lottery:

The program is open for all Chicago residents that are at least 18 and who have a current and valid city sticker with the correct mailing address. Eligible residents must have an income at or below 100% of the area median income for Chicago.
For the transit cards, Chicago residents and have a household income at or below 140% of the area median income.
The cards will be given out for five months from May- September, with the deadline to apply being the 3rd of each month.
