Police: Suspects sought after shooting at Auburn bar leaves worker with two gunshot wounds

Police in the city of Auburn are looking for the person responsible for a shooting that left a woman in her 20s critically injured.

Around 2:28 a.m. on June 26, 2022 the Auburn Police Department was notified of a shooting at the Lavish Lounge on Genesee Street.

Police said that upon arrival to the scene- there were a pair of fights involving groups of people.


During one of those incidents two black males began shooting. A woman in her 20s was shot outside the bar.

She suffered two gunshot wounds to her torso. The victim was said to be a bar employee who was not involved in the fight.


Police did not identify her, but said the victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital for treatment.
