It was another action-packed weekend in baseball and the guys have you covered in the Monday edition of Concrete Jungle. Despite splitting a key series against the Houston Astros, the main headline for the Yankees was the no-hitter thrown on Saturday. Paul Russo and Kyle Evans break down the series and whether there is legitimacy in a combined no-hitter. The guys also discuss members of the Yankee pitching staff making rehab appearances and the good news coming from those outings. The Mets were able to take the series from the Marlins. Paul and Kyle talk about the offense output that pushed the starts from Chris Bassitt and Taijuan Walker over the edge and a big day from David Peterson on Sunday. The guys also talk about Max Scherzer making another rehab start with AA Binghamton and his comments after his previous start last week.
To wrap up the show, Paul and Kyle talk about the Red Wings and SMets series last week, including a couple of Sunday ejections. They also preview the week ahead for both squads, as Worcester visits Rochester and Lehigh Valley heads to Syracuse.
