Recently, Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz signed a law that would give the frontline essential workers a stimulus bonus of $750.
This law is also known as “Hero Pay.”
It is for workers who worked during the COVID-19 health emergency.
How the Minnesota stimulus payment works
Applications opened on June 8, 2022.
Workers have until July 22, 2022 to apply for the stimulus payment.
Frontline workers may submit their applications for the payment through Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

667,000 Minnesota workers are estimated to be eligible for the $750 stimulus payment.
In order to qualify, you must have a profession that meets the eligibility.
Eligible professions include
- Emergency responders
- Healthcare workers
- Childcare providers
- Grocery store employees
- Food workers
- Bus drivers
- Janitors
You need to have worked at least 120 hours between March 15, 2020 and June 30, 2021.
In order to qualify, your income as a single filer cannot exceed $85,000 or as a married filer $185,000.
Depending on how many people apply, the stimulus checks could be as high as $1,500.
