The Waterloo Central School District is teaming up with the Village of Waterloo to offer the Waterloo Enrichment Program this summer.
The free program is open to students entering grades 1-6 this fall and will take place July 5-Aug. 5 at the Waterloo Community Center, 3 Oak Street. Participants must attend the Waterloo Central School District or be residents of the towns of Waterloo, Fayette or Junius to attend.
The program includes sports, games, arts and crafts, a spray park, playground and community guests. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays at the Waterloo Community Center. Fridays include out of camp trips and swimming at Vince’s Park in Seneca Falls. The spray park is only open to enrichment participants during program hours. The program is being funded through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) of 2021.
A free lunch will be provided to all participants by the Waterloo Central School District. Children can also bring a bag lunch. Trevor’s Gift Backpack program will also be available with food pickup on Thursday afternoons.
Completed registration forms must be dropped off at the Waterloo Community Center, 3 Oak Street or mailed to 41 W. Main St., Waterloo, NY 13165. Proof of current immunizations is required at registration.
