Between groceries and home bills like mortgages or electric, gas is becoming more unaffordable for Americans.

Wolf said that a tax suspension would ease the economic hardship Pennsylvania residents are currently facing.

This would happen without impacting infrastructure projects in the state that are funded through taxes.

Other governors joining Wolf include Governors Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, Jared Polis of Colorado, Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico and Tony Evers of Wisconsin.

They all signed a letter addressing both the Senate and the House.
