The dog days of summer are about to begin, and Concrete Jungle has you covered once again for the baseball scene in New York. The Yankees rolled north of the border and took another series against Toronto. Paul Russo and Kyle Evans are joined by Caleb Roden to discuss the series from a Blue Jay perspective. The offense was spot on once again, slugging it out. The Yankees also took care of the Rays on Thursday on a big day for the young guns in the bullpen. The Mets have had to deal with the Marlins over the weekend. The guys talk about the first of the three games of the series ahead of a key game Monday afternoon where they try to win the series. The bats of Pete Alonso and Francisco Lindor took center stage as Carlos Carrasco and Taijuan Walker were the highlights on the mound once again.
Rochester and Syracuse meet up once again this week but were on the road last week. Rochester dropped the series to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre but did pick up some wins when needed. Syracuse took the series in Norfolk against the Tides. Paul, Kyle and Caleb talk about the local teams as they battle at Frontier Field this week.
