An infant toy called Activity Loops has been recalled following the risk of small parts detaching and causing a choking hazard.
The recall was issued June 9, 2022 with around 2,700 impacted toys being sold in the United States.
Around 472 have been sold in Canada.
Why is were Activity Loops issued a recall?
This releases small plastic rings from the toys that are small enough to choke on.
The Activity Loops toys being recalled are model numbers 215210 and lot codes EAN and FCN.
Brompton electric folding bicycles recalled for crash and injury hospitalizations
These are the only two lot codes being recalled.
This information can be found on the bottom of the dome shaped base.
The loops are green, orange, blue and red with moving rings and soccer ball shapes that can slide.
There is a suction cup on the bottom of the toy to attach to flat surfaces.
What to do if you have an Activity Loops toy that was impacted
If you own one of these toys, stop using them immediately.
You can return them for a full refund where you purchased the product or by contacting the Manhattan Toy Company.
The company will give you a free prepaid shipping label to return the toy directly to them.
There have been three reports of the tubes detaching and zero reports of injury.
The product was sold at independent specialty stores across the nation as well as online at www.manhattantoy.com between June 2021 and March 2022 for about $25.
