A woman was rescued after a tubing accident on Conesus Lake over the weekend.
According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the area of McPhersons Point for a woman struggling in the water.
Neighbors in the area spotted the woman in distress- and got in their boat to pull her from the water.
She was unresponsive, but the neighbors who rescued her continued performing CPR until first responders arrived.
The victim is listed in guarded condition at this point, according to News10NBC. She ended up in the water after becoming separated from the pontoon boat she was riding.
Deputies said her life jacket was not the right size.
