The Syracuse Mets dropped their fourth straight game to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders on Saturday night at NBT Bank Stadium with an 8-4 loss.
Connor Grey started on the bump for Syracuse and allowed four runs on five hits over 5 2/3 innings while walking four and striking out two. Adonis Medina and Tommy Hunter each surrendered a pair of runs in relief. The runs Medina allowed were unearned.
Luke Ritter drove in two runs, while Johneswhy Fargas and Dominic Smith each collected an RBI. Ritter had two of Syracuse’s five hits.
The two teams will wrap up the series on Sunday. The first pitch is slated for 1:05 p.m.
