The Rochester Red Wings suffered their fifth consecutive loss on Saturday night with an 11-7 loss to the St. Paul Saints at CHS Field.
Rochester’s pitching really struggled again. Cole Henry started on the mound and surrendered a season-high four earned runs on six hits over three innings. Sam Clay and Cory Abbott allowed two runs in relief, and Alberto Baldonado gave up three.
Josh Palacios extended his home run streak to three games with a two-run shot. Richard Urena also smacked a two-run homer and had an RBI single. Andrew Stevenson registered an RBI single as well.
Jake Noll had a three-hit night for Rochester, and everyone in the starting lineup had at least a hit except for Joey Meneses.
The Red Wings will try to avoid the six-game sweep on Sunday with right-hander Joan Adon on the bump. The first pitch is slated for 3:07 p.m.
