Deputies have identified the 33-year-old man who they say fired a gun at Carrabba’s Restaurant in Henrietta on Thursday.
The incident sent customers and employees of the restaurant fleeing, and law enforcement swarming.
Deputies said that Alonzo Jones, 33, pulled a gun from his waistband and shot at them- barely missing a deputy’s head.
Deputies then returned fire- striking Jones, who fell to the ground and dropped the gun.
He’s been charged with aggravated assault and weapons charges. He is being held without bail due to previous convictions- and time incarcerated.
According to News10NBC, Jones served about a year-and-a-half in prison on a gun charge. He then served another year for a robbery conviction.
No one was injured in the incident.
