Rochester Red Wings roll past Bisons, 6-1

The Rochester Red Wings rolled past the Buffalo Bisons, 6-1, on Thursday night at Frontier Field.

The six-game series is now even at a game apiece.

Jackson Tetreault started on the bump for Rochester and allowed one run over six innings. Sam Clay, Tyler Clippard, and Reed Garrett each had scoreless outings in relief.


Joey Meneses, Ehire Adrianza, and Tres Barrera homered, while Andrew Stevenson had an RBI double. Meneses and Barrera each had multi-hit games.

The two teams will continue the six-game series on Friday at 7:05 p.m. Nationals ace Stephen Strasburg is scheduled to make a rehab start for the Red Wings.
