Police seek public assistance after teens cause major damage at Geneva Club Beverage, vandalize personal vehicle

According to a news release, on Saturday around 2 a.m. officers responded to Geneva Club Beverage on Pepsi Lane for a criminal mischief complaint.

Upon arrival, officers learned that two white males, between the ages of 14 and 19 were in the area during the crime. They were described as having short dark hair and longer blonde hair, but no additional details were available.

Investigation revealed that the individuals stole three vehicle keys and caused damage in excess of $6,000 to vehicles and property.

Soon after that incident, officers received another criminal mischief complaint not far from Geneva Club Beverage. It was reported that two males caused significant damage to a person’s vehicle.

The damage was estimated to be thousands of dollars.

GPD is seeking leads and information regarding the crimes. They’re asking residents of the Middle Street, Wadsworth Street and Herbert Street areas to check security cameras from that time frame to potentially help with the investigation.

Officers say May 28 between 1:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. is the timeframe in which both crimes occurred.
