A Palmyra man was arrested following an investigation of identity theft in Lyons.
According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Thomas Vandusen, 31, of Palmyra for grand larceny, petit larceny, and identity theft.
It is alleged that Vandusen took another person’s phone to access their Cash App account. He made multiple transactions from the victim’s account to his personal Cash App account, totaling over $1500.
Vandusen was taken to the Wayne County Jail to await arraignment.
