Are you a Verizon customer? If so, you may be in for an unpleasant surprise in June when the servicer raises its fees, and your bill.
As inflation causes everything to rise in price, cell phone service appears to be one of those things.
Verizon shared it will be changing some fees that will directly impact customers.

Administrative fees for each month will rise from $1.95 per line to $3.30 per line for the month of June.
This change applies to any smartwatches or tablets on the plan, but not hotspots.

Business accounts will see a new fee called an economic adjustment fee which will be $2.20 per line.
Basic service plans can expect an extra $0.98 per line starting June 16, 2022.
If you have a plan with multiple phone lines, you can expect even bigger bills than those with one line.

There are a few things you can do to help cut back, according to USA Today.
First, look at your options.
There might be a better, and cheaper, plan that meets your needs.
Next, see if you can share a phone plan with someone.
You could save money starting a family plan.
Finally, look at other service providers all together if you think you’ll save money.
Some people learn that by leaving one service provider, another one will offer better plans.
