BOYS SECTIONAL LACROSSE: Pal-Mac cruises past Geneva, advances to Class C Championship

Section V Boys Lacrosse Class C Semifinals were held at Canandaigua Academy on Friday night. In the first game, the HFL Cougars took down the Wayne Eagles to earn a spot in the championship game. In the other semifinal, the Pal-Mac Red Raiders took down the Geneva Panthers by a score of 20-10.

Pal-Mac’s Mike Halsey struck first when his marker put Pal-Mac up with 9:40 remaining in the first half. The first quarter would prove to be low-scoring, with the Red Raiders leading 3-2 after 1 quarter. The Red Raiders would control the remainder of the game, pulling out a 20-10 victory to head to the finals.

The Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars and the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders will square off in the Class C Championship on Tuesday, May 31st. The opening draw is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Canandaigua Academy.

FL1 Radio is back for Section V Class B1 Softball Finals! The #1 seed Batavia Blue Devils will battle the #2 seed Waterloo Indians on Saturday. Ted Baker has all the action from Webster-Schroeder, with the first pitch scheduled for 11 a.m.
