Jose Trevino’s walk-off single lifts Yankees over Orioles in extras

The New York Yankees snapped a three-game skid with a 7-6 victory over the Baltimore Orioles in 11 innings.

Jose Trevino delivered a walk-off single to give the Yankees their 30th win of the season. He finished 3-for-4 with a solo home run and three RBIs.

Gleyber Torres homered twice while Anthony Rizzo also went deep. Isiah Kiner-Falefa tied the game in the eleventh with an RBI single.


Jordan Montgomery allowed a pair of runs over six innings. Michael King struggled in relief as he allowed three runs.

The Yankees will send J.P. Sears to the mound on Wednesday as they try to take two of three from the Orioles. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
