Seneca Falls woman charged with endangering the welfare of a child

Police arrested a Seneca Falls woman following report of property being destroyed.

According to a news release, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Catina Y. Overbaugh, 48, of Seneca Falls for endangering the welfare of a child.


Upon police arrival, it was determined that Overbaugh and her 14-year-old daughter were in the presence over Overbaugh’s boyfriend destroying property. During the incident, Overbaugh allowed her daughter to be exposed to, and participate in, the intentional destruction of property and threats of physical harm. The child was not injured as a result of the incident.

Overbaugh was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility where she awaits arraignment.
