New York State Police released the names of individuals involved in the serious vehicle crash in Macedon on Monday.
Jamie Stobie, 39, of Walworth, was seriously injured when her vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer that failed to stop at a stop sign.
Tractor-trailer driver, Tuychiev Otabek, 34, of Brooklyn, was treated and released at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
One airlifted from serious crash in Macedon: Troopers say tractor-trailer went through stop sign
New York State Police provided an update on a serious crash that happened in Macedon on May 23.
According to a news release, around 7:52 a.m. troopers responded to a serious crash at the intersection of Macedon Center Road and Walworth Road.
Upon arrival, troopers interviewed witnesses who said a tractor-trailer was eastbound on Macedon Center Road and passed through a stop sign in the path of a passenger vehicle traveling south on Walworth Road.
The operator of the passenger vehicle, an adult female, was taken by Mercy Flight to Strong Hospital with serious injuries.
The operator of the tractor-trailer was treated at the scene and is cooperative.
The State Police Collison Reconstruction Unit was on scene conducting their investigation and the State Police was assisted by the Macedon Fire Department and the Wayne County Advanced Life Support Unit.
The tractor-trailer driver was ticketed for failing to stop. The investigation remains active.
Identities of those involved were not released.
