Buffalo Bills All-Pro safety Jordan Poyer is among a handful of players not participating in the team’s offseason workout program at One Bills Drive. However, these workouts are considered voluntary, and Poyer is not required to be there.
This comes after Poyer changed his agent and has been vocal about signing an extension to stay in Buffalo for years to come.
Poyer initially signed with the Bills in 2017 and agreed to a two-year extension in 2020. He is set to make a base salary of $5.6 million this season.
Last season, the 30-year-old notched 93 tackles with three sacks, nine passes defended, and five interceptions.
Micah Hyde, DaQuan Jones, Rodger Saffold, Spencer Brown, Tre’Davious White (injury rehab), and Ike Boettger (injury rehab) were the other players absent from OTAs on Tuesday.
