It was a big day in the Finger Lakes for some of Section V’s best high school golfers.
Individual SuperSectionals was held at Wayne Hills Country Club in Lyons on Monday.
The top-9 players with the lowest gross score between today’s round and Round #1 over the weekend qualified for the NYSPHSAA Championship.
After a stellar 74 (+3) on Saturday at Clifton Springs Country Club, Waterloo Junior LJ Siblosky was in a great position to qualify for the state tournament. Siblosky achieved that goal on Monday, firing a 78 for a two round total of 152.
He will compete in the State Tournament from June 4-6 at Mark Twain Golf Course in Elmira.
