Police arrested a Penn Yan man on Friday stemming from charges filed from an incident reported three days prior.
According to a news release, the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Edward H. Judy, 30, of Penn Yan for menacing, harassment, endangering the welfare of a child, and resisting arrest.
During the initial reported incident, it is alleged that Judy confronted a female in the presence of a child threatening to kill them both. Police located Judy walking down Hamilton Street on Friday where he was stopped by police. Additionally, he resisted arrest while being taken into custody.
Judy was transported to jail to await arraignment.
