Do I qualify for ACP?
Sometimes having a stable internet connection is m0re affordable for some people than others. In 2022, the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) launched to help all Americans get low-cost internet connection. Find additional details here.
ACP is intended to assist low-income households pay for internet connection for work, school, or other services. One person in the household must meet the criteria in order to participate.
If you participate in the Federal Lifeline program, you are eligible for ACP. It can save you $9 a month on internet and $34 for people living on tribal land. If you already are a recipient of another government assistant program, you will likely be eligible for this discount too.
You can also qualify based solely on income. If your income is 200% or less of the federal poverty level, you may also qualify.
How do I apply?
You can apply online through ACP’s online application portal. Mailing in a printed application and required documentation is another option, the address is: ACP Support Center, PO Box 7081, London, KY 40742.
Applying online will generally be the fasted way to get the credit.
