Monday’s game between the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets at Citi Field has been postponed due to rain.
The game will be made up as the first game of a single-admission doubleheader on Tuesday, May 17, beginning at 3:10 p.m. Game 2 will begin 30-40 minutes following the conclusion of Game 1.
Trevor Williams is expected to get the start in Game 1 and Taijuan Walker in Game 2, according to MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo.
The Mets are coming off their first series loss of the season.
