The Syracuse Orange women’s lacrosse team advanced to the second round of the NCAA Lacrosse Tournament on Sunday afternoon with a 13-9 victory over the Princeton Tigers at Sherrerd Field.
Princeton led 3-1 after the first quarter, but Syracuse outscored the Tigers 12-6 the rest of the way.
Meaghan Tyrrell scored five goals and goalkeeper Kimber Hower made 11 saves to lead the Orange. Olivia Adamson also recorded a hat trick.
