The New York Yankees defeated the Chicago White Sox, 10-4, on Friday night at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Gerrit Cole got the start for New York and allowed three runs on six hits over 6.1 innings while walking one and striking out nine. Michael King allowed a run over 2.2 innings in relief.
For the second night in a row, Giancarlo Stanton hit a two-run home run to right in the first to give the Yankees an early 2-0 lead.

The Yankees plated three runs in the second to extend the lead to 5-0. Aaron Hicks lined an RBI double to right. DJ LeMahieu brought home a run with an RBI groundout and Josh Donaldson smoked an RBI double to left.
Aaron Judge launched a solo home run over the right-field wall in the fourth to increase the lead to 6-0. In the bottom of the frame, Chicago scored a run on a balk.

Gavin Sheets crushed a two-run shot to right in the sixth to make it 7-3.
New York added three more runs in the ninth. Josh Donaldson belted a two-run home run to right and Isiah Kiner-Falefa lifted a sacrifice fly to center. In the bottom of the inning, the White Sox added a run on Reese McGuire’s RBI single.

Everyone in the starting lineup had at least a hit except for DJ LeMahieu. Judge, Donaldson, Stanton, Torres, Gallo, and Kiner-Falefa had two-hit games.
Jordan Montgomery will get the ball on Saturday night as the Yankees look to win another series. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
