Police say a Rushville woman was taken into custody on an arrest warrant.
According to a news release, the Geneva Police Department arrested Makenzie Whipple, 20, of Rushville for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
On April 25, members of the Geneva Police Department responded to a residence for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Upon investigation, it was learned that Whipple borrowed another person’s vehicle and refused to return it. The vehicle was recovered on April 26 in South Carolina.
Whipple was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
