A GoFundMe campaign to help a local business damaged by a fire raised nearly $30,000 within the span of 24 hours.
The Naples community rallied to support Hollerhorn Distilling owners Melissa Fargnoli-Neubauer and Karl Neubauer after a fire in the early hours of Thursday, May 12 destroyed the distillery’s tasting room, bar and dining areas.

GoFundMe campaign raises almost $30K in first 24 hours
The GoFuneMe campaign for Hollerhorn Distilling has raised $29,632 of its $50,000 goal as of 1 p.m. on Friday. The campaign organized by Melissa’s sister Meridith Fargnoli raised $10,000 within the first four hours of going live on the crowdfunding website.
“We don’t have words right now- or even a lot of answers. But we do know that Hollerhorn was built on love. Karl & Melissa have poured their great big hearts and souls into building a space where all people are welcomed to dance, eat, drink and connect. Right now they need positive energy, prayers and good vibes so they can start the seemingly insurmountable task of picking up the pieces from this devastating loss,” reads a message posted to the GoFundMe page.
