Williamson man arrested for DWAI drugs after crash

Police say a Williamson man was arrested following a motor vehicle collision.

According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Luke R. Tennity, 19, of Williamson for driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Tennity was involved in a two car motor vehicle collision on Ridge Road in the Town of Williamson in June. Blood tests were returned and showed that he had been driving under the influence of THC. He was charged with DWAI drugs and backing unsafely.

Tennity will appear in Williamson Town Court at a later date to answer charges.
