The FDA posted in an article that Fagron Inc. is recalling SyrSpend SF.
Due to a potential Burkholderia gladioli contamination.
Burkholderia gladioli is a pathogen that targets patients with respiratory issues.
Especially those with Cystic Fibrosis.
This pathogen can also cause issues after transplants.
Being exposed to products that are contaminated can lead to adverse events.
This could be sever for some individuals.

- SyrSpend SF Cherry
And will the following item numbers lot numbers and expiration dates
- 805359 – A67185 – 08/31/2024
- 802496 – A67186 – 08/31/2024
This product was distributed to hospitals and pharmacies.
So far there have been three reports of the product having a smell to it.
There have been no reported cases of illness due to this recall.
If you have the product stop use immediately.
The company notified all distributors and customers about this recall.
And is currently arranging a return for all of these products.
