Police arrested a Waterloo man following an investigation into a stolen vehicle.
According to a news release, the Geneva Police Department arrested Timothy R. Brown, 36, of Waterloo for criminal possession of stolen property, fleeing a police officer, criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation, and reckless driving.
Brown was observed operating a stolen motor vehicle on Exchange Street in Geneva. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, Brown refused and attempted to flee officers. Brown was pursued until he stopped at a residence Waterloo. Upon investigation, it was revealed that Brown was found to be in possession of illegal controlled substances. The investigation is still ongoing.
Brown was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
