Several fire departments were called to a barn fire in the town of Junius on Saturday.
Motorists along the New York State Thruway in Seneca County reported seeing black smoke from the blaze, which destroyed the barn.
Firefighters from Junius, Waterloo, Border City, Oaks Corners, Northside, Clyde, and Fayette all responded to the blaze.
The fire prompted firefighters to request additional tankers after the initial response.
