Police say a Geneva man was arrested following a disturbance at a residence.

According to a news release, the Geneva Police Department arrested Michael A. Jackson, 38, of Geneva for robbery, assault, and resisting arrest.

Upon arrival, officers learned that Jackson forcibly stole property from another person. While individuals were placing him into custody, he became irate and fought with officers. Jackson kicked an officer in the face, causing physical injury.
