A new stimulus plan in the state of Connecticut was recently approved, which would pay a collective $30 million to essential workers.
The payments are worth up to $1,000 each.
The plan was passed on May 3 by the Senate and is on its way to the governor.
This is part of the budget passed last year.

The stimulus payment will be a one time payment and is part of the Connecticut Premium Pay Program.
Over $1 billion in American Rescue Plan funds are being used to pay for the program.
If the governor signs off, the plan will go into effect July 1, 2022.
$750 payments- but only if you have a specific job
At the moment, people are debating what is deemed essential for workers.
What are the stimulus payments worth?
Full time workers who are considered to be eligible will see bonuses worth $200-$1,000.
The income cap is $150,000.
Certain part time workers will see $500.
Who gets the stimulus payments?
The guidelines being used are those originally released by the CDC during the pandemic.
