The New York Mets have announced that Friday’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies has been postponed due to the forecast of sustained inclement weather.
The game will be made up on Saturday, August 20, as part of a split-admission doubleheader, with the game starting at 1:05 p.m. The gates will open at 12:05 p.m. for the 1:05 p.m. game. The originally scheduled August 20 game will remain at 7:15 p.m.
The Mets will return to action on Saturday afternoon. The first pitch is slated for 4:05 p.m.
