The Syracuse Orange women’s lacrosse team was eliminated from the ACC Tournament quarterfinals on Friday night with an 18-14 loss to the Virginia Cavaliers at Arlotta Stadium.
Syracuse trailed 9-8 at the half, but then was outscored 9-6 in the second half and Virginia pulled away for the victory.
Meaghan Tyrrell led the Orange with six points on four goals and two assists. Emily Hawryschuk and Megan Carney each recorded a hat trick.
