The Syracuse Crunch won their sixth consecutive game on Friday night with a 4-1 win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at the Upstate Medical University Arena.
Syracuse jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first period and never looked back as they scored two more in the second and one in the third to secure the victory.
Remi Elie, Simon Ryfors, Gabriel Dumont and Alex Green tallied for the Crunch while Max Lagace turned aside 20-of-21 shots.
Radim Zohorna scored the lone goal for the Penguins while Tommy Nappier stopped 33-of-36 shots.
Syracuse finished 1-for-3 on the power play and a perfect 4-for-4 on the penalty kill.
The Crunch will host the Laval Rocket in the regular-season finale on Saturday night. Face-off is slated for 7 p.m.
