Police arrested a Fulton man for violating an order of protection.
According to a news release, the Canandaigua Police Department arrested David M. Hartpence, 38, of Fulton for criminal contempt.
It is alleged that Hartpence sent several threatening text messages to a Canandaigua resident which violated an order of protection.
Hartpence is currently on probation and was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
