Walmart+ members see a lot of perks from the big box retailer, and now they can see help with rising gas prices.
Starting yesterday, April 27, the store announced they would double their discount from $.05 per gallon of gas to $0.10.
The change happened when the announcement was made.
12,000 Exxon and Mobil gas stations will also take the deal through Walmart.

The Walmart+ gas prices can be found using the Walmart app.
You may purchase a membership for $98 for a year or $12.95 per month.
What are the savings on gas prices with the Walmart+ app?
According to The Sun, there are various savings you could see depending on your vehicle.
For a small to mid-sized car, gas is around $4.13 per gallon and they hold around 15 gallons.
With the store membership it would be around $61.95 to fill your tank and you’d save $1.50 per fill up.
$150 gas cards could soon be available
Overall you’d save around $6 per month if you fill up 4 times per year.
For a larger car like an SUV, it would be around $99.12 to fill the average 24 gallons.
You’d save around $2.40 per fill up, resulting in $9.60 per month by filling up 4 times.
Keep in mind the membership is $12.95 each month.
