Police say two Ontario county residents were arrested after responding to a residence in Geneva to assist New York State Parole.
According to a news release, the Geneva Police Department arrested Meghan E. Hinckley, 33, of Clifton Springs and Robin J. Smith, 39, of Geneva.
New York State Parole had an arrest warrant for Hinckley. While attempting to arrest her, she resisted officers and became combative. Smith, who is another parolee, was at the residence and attempted to pull officers away from Hinckley.
Both subjects were taken into custody and will respond to charges at a later date.
