The New York Yankees made a roster move prior to Tuesday’s series opener against the Baltimore Orioles.
The team placed outfielder Aaron Hicks on the paternity list and recalled infielder/outfielder Miguel Andújar from the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the Yankees Triple-A affiliate.
Hicks is heading back to Arizona for the birth of his third child. He can spend up to three days on the paternity list.
Andújar has hit .347/.396/.551 with three home runs and six RBI in 13 games with Triple-A Scranton so far this season.
