The Wayne County Board of Supervisors has a new chair.
The Finger Lakes Times reports town of Huron Supervisor Phil Eygnor was named as chair at the Supervisors’ meeting Tuesday morning. He replaces Palmyra Supervisor Ken Miller, who resigned after he was found unconscious at his home, apparently intoxicated, in March. Authorities went to his home on a welfare check after he missed a scheduled Supervisors meeting. Miller took a medical leave of absence before announcing his resignation as chair earlier this month.

Eygnor has served as interim chair since Miller announced his leave of absence. Miller has not resigned his position as town of Palmyra Supervisor. The board had previously voted to cut Miller’s salary.
