Police say a Canandaigua man was arrested following investigation into a domestic incident.
According to a news release, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dylan Kirby, 22, of Canandaigua for criminal contempt.
The investigation showed that Kirby was at the same apartment as the victim and violated a stay away order of protection. When law enforcement arrived, Kirby jumped from a second story window and was transported to Thompson Hospital for a medical evaluation. Once cleared, he was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
Kirby is due to appear in the Town of Canandaigua Court at a later date to answer charges.
