Best Buy is recalling air fryer oven and air fryers.
These kitchen gadgets can overheat and cause a fire or burn hazard.
The following are the names of the affected products
- Insignia Digital Air Fryers
- Insignia Analog Air Fryers
- Insignia Digital Air Fryer Ovens
They will have the following model numbers
- NS-AF32DBK9
- NS-AF32MBK9
- NS-AF50MBK9
- NS-AF53DSS0
- NS-AF53MSS0
- NS-AF55DBK9
- NS-AFO6DBK1
- NS-AFO6DSS1
These products were sold at Best Buy stores nationwide.
And online at ebay.com, google.com and bestbuy.com.
From November 2018 through February 2022.
Their is over 635,000 gadgets included in this recall.
There has been 69 reported cases in the U.S. of these products catching fire.
Seven reports of property damage.
Along with two reports of injuries.
Including one involving a child being injured.
If you have purchased one of these recalled fryers.
Do not use them and return them for a refund.
