The Syracuse Orange men’s lacrosse team (4-9, 1-4) dropped its fifth consecutive game on Saturday evening at the Carrier Dome with a 21-15 loss to the Virginia Cavaliers (10-3, 5-1).
Syracuse opened the scoring, but No. 5 Virginia quickly responded to take the lead and never trailed again.
Jackson Birtwistle led the Orange offensively with five goals while Brendan Curry notched six points on two goals and four assists. Tucker Dordevic also added a hat trick while Owen Seebold scored twice as well.
