The Syracuse Crunch blanked the Belleville Senators, 6-0, on Friday night at the Upstate Medical University Arena.
Charles Hudon found the back of the net twice while Anthony Richard, Riley Nash, Gabriel Fortier and Gemel Smith also scored. Max Lagace made 27 saves to earn the shutout.
Mads Sogaard stopped 21-of-25 shots for Belleville before he was pulled from the game for Mitch Gillam, who turned aside 13-of-15.
Syracuse finished 2-for-5 on the power play and a perfect 3-for-3 on the penalty kill.
The Crunch outshot the Senators, 40-27.
Syracuse will be right back in action on Saturday night when they host the Laval Rocket at 7 p.m.
