Police arrested a Marion man following a larceny investigation.
According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Thomas M. Simmons, 28, of Marion for obstructing governmental administration and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
The charges stem from a domestic incident in which Simmons allegedly took his girlfriend’s vehicle without her consent, then refused to cooperate with authorities while being questioned.
Simmons is due to appear in Marion Town Court at a later date to answer charges.
