The Syracuse Orange men’s lacrosse team (4-8, 1-3) fell behind early, rallied back, but fell just short in a 14-13 loss to the North Carolina Tar Heels (8-4, 1-3) on Saturday evening at Dorrance Field.
Brendan Curry, Tucker Dordevic and Jackson Birtwistle each recorded a hat trick to lead the Orange offensively.
Goalkeeper’s Bobby Gavin and Harrison Thompson combined for five saves in the loss.
