The Finger Lakes Times reports Linden St. will once again be closed to vehicle traffic on Fridays and Saturdays during the spring and summer. Real estate developer and downtown property owner Dave Linger, one of the organizers of the weekly events, says live music will begin next Friday. He says new food and drink businesses have opened up in the area, giving downtown visitors more options than ever. The following musical acts have been announced so far:

April 22: Michael Gonzalez.

April 29: Jerry Martin.

April 30: Slick Sly.

May 6: Johnny Matrix.

May 7: Grace and Boone.

Music is from 6-9 p.m. and it’s free. The hours will be adjusted in the summer when the days are longer. There will be some Sunday street closures for special events. Get the latest information on the Live from Linden Facebook page.
